Besides tinkering with PC technology I still have to do the odd job or repair around the apartment. Many of those tasks need a cordless drill/screwdriver. In the 90s I owned a Bosch which I traded for a Zip Drive and Zip disks...priorities. Later, I thought I would save some money and buy a no name 20 Euro cordless. I ended up buying one every two or three years...the batteries kept dying on me. After two decades of torturing myself with cheap cordless crap, I finally bought something that will last.
Makita DF333D around 125 Euros including Makita bit set. (For those who don't know, Makita is an independent Japanese power tool company)
